This is my tribute to the Monkey: Journey to the West show. My theory is that if the Gorillaz characters would somehow wind up in the same room as the Monkey characters, similar things like above here would occur XD. Noodle would harras the Dragon Prince, 2-d and Monkey would have a staring contest, Spider Woman tries to tempt Murdoc, and Russel and Pigsy would eat all the food they can get their hands on.

Hope you guys like it! I know some of you wanted me to do a Gorillaz drawing for a long time, so this one's for you (:

I don't know nothing about this new project Monkey... ^^; But I watched that vid of them in Youtube about Pequim. :nod:

Aw, thanks! Monkey's an opera based on an old Chinese legend about a cheeky monkey that seeks immortality. Jamie also made the characters star in an animation made especially for the Beijing Olimpics this year, you can see it here [link] The Monkey album was released a couple of days ago, but I really hope they'll release a dvd of the show. All the characters in there are so cool, it would be a waste to not release it.
